Getting Started

How do I create an EchoBloom account?

Creating an EchoBloom account is simple:

  1. Download the EchoBloom app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the app. On the login screen, look for “Don’t have an account?” — to the right of it, tap the slightly highlighted Sign up.
  3. Choose how to register:
    • iOS: In-app registration, Apple ID, or Google.
    • Android: In-app registration or Google.
  4. Verify your account through the chosen method
  5. You can optionally add your name, important things about yourself and photo — or skip and do it later
What's the best way to start using EchoBloom?

We recommend starting with these steps:

  • Add your closest relationships (family, friends)
  • Write down what you know about them — personality, details, important dates, who they’re connected to.
  • Add birthdays, anniversaries, or other dates you don’t want to forget (these show up in the Calendar automatically).
  • Notifications are enabled by default for Premium users, so you’ll get reminders without extra setup. (If you want to turn them off, go to Settings → Notifications and use the switch there.)
  • Tip: Use the AI assistant — it’s the fastest way to add people, details, and connections without filling everything manually.
Is there a web version of EchoBloom?

Not yet — but a web version is currently in development. Stay tuned!

Features Guide

What is the AI Chat for?

The AI Chat is your personal assistant for organizing what you know about people. You can tell it things naturally, like:

  • Guoda is my sister, she loves hiking, and her birthday is May 12.
  • Tomas is connected to Laura, they work together at the bank.
  • What should I gift Guoda for her birthday?

The AI will take what you say and update the right profiles automatically — adding traits, dates, or connections. You can also ask it questions anytime, like “Who did I say Laura is connected to?” or “Whose birthday is coming up this week?

It’s the fastest way to keep EchoBloom updated without filling every field manually.

What can I do in the Relationships tab?

In the Relationships tab Relationships tab, you can build and manage your network of people:

  • Add people manually with their name, traits, and any important details.
  • Edit profiles anytime to update birthdays, anniversaries, personality traits, or new connections.
  • Link people together (e.g., “Laura is Tomas’s coworker” or “Guoda is my sister”) so connections are clear.
  • See important dates (birthdays, anniversaries) directly inside each profile, pulled into the Calendar automatically.
  • Search and filter to quickly find someone, or switch to Graph View (Premium) to see how everyone is connected visually.

It’s the central place to keep track of the people who matter, their details, and how they connect to each other.

What’s the Calendar for?

The Calendar is where all important dates come together in one place. It automatically gathers birthdays and anniversaries from people’s profiles and also lets you create your own events. In Calendar you can:

  • See all upcoming dates — birthdays, anniversaries, and events you’ve added.
  • Create new events such as dinners, reunions, or personal reminders, and link them to one or more people.
  • Make events recurring (weekly, monthly, yearly) so you never have to re-enter them.
  • View events inside profiles — anything linked to a person appears both on their profile and in the Calendar.
  • Get reminders (Premium) so you’re notified before important days arrive.

The Calendar works as your personal timeline of people and events — always connected back to the profiles you’ve saved.

Can I get reminders or notifications?

Yes — if you’re a Premium user, you’ll receive smart notifications to help you stay on top of important dates and profiles:

  • 7 days before an event (Premium) — get a heads-up one week in advance.
  • 1 day before an event — reminder the day before.
  • On the day of the event (Premium) — notification on the morning of the event.
  • Monthly overview — on the 1st day of each month, see how many events are coming up.
  • Profile completion suggestions — when you create a new profile, EchoBloom will suggest adding more details (like birthday, connections, or traits).

These notifications keep your Calendar active and help you prepare in advance — without any extra setup.

Can I add or edit my own custom events?

Yes. You can add your own events directly from the Calendar:

  • Tap the “+” button in the Calendar.
  • A popup will appear where you can enter details like a picture, title, date, and occurrence (one-time or recurring).
  • After saving, the event will appear in your Calendar and can be linked to one or more people.
  • To edit an event, find your event in the calendar and press the pencil icon.

Troubleshooting

My app keeps crashing. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and restart it
  2. Check for updates in the App Store/Google Play
  3. Restart your device
  4. Clear the app cache (Settings > Apps > EchoBloom > Storage > Clear Cache)
  5. If problems persist, reinstall the app (your data stays linked to your account)

I'm not receiving notifications. How can I fix this?

Notification issues are usually device-specific:

  • Ensure you're a Premium user — notifications are only available on Premium
  • Enable notifications in EchoBloom: Settings > Notifications
  • Check your device's notification permissions for EchoBloom
  • Disable battery optimization for EchoBloom on Android
  • Ensure Do Not Disturb is off (iOS)
I accidentally deleted a profile. Can I recover it?

Currently, deleted profiles and their events cannot be restored. To avoid mistakes, EchoBloom always asks you to confirm before deleting. We recommend double-checking before confirming deletion.

Why isn’t AI Chat updating the profile correctly?

Sometimes AI needs more context. Make sure you mention the person’s name when adding details:

  • Correct:Tomas likes football.”
  • Incorrect: “Likes football.”

If an update still doesn’t apply, try editing the profile manually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private and secure?

Absolutely. We take privacy seriously:

  • Your data is stored securely and tied to your account
  • We do not sell your personal data
  • We continue improving privacy and security across the product

Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Can I delete someone I added?

Yes. You can delete a person’s profile in three ways:

  • From the Relationships tab: press and hold on a person until a popup appears, then select Delete.
  • From inside a profile: tap the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Delete.
  • Using AI Chat: simply type “Delete [person’s name] profile” and confirm when prompted.

Note: Deleting a profile also removes their dates and events from the Calendar.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your data is always safe in the cloud and linked to your account, not just your device. If you uninstall the app, nothing is lost — simply reinstall EchoBloom, log back in, and all your profiles, dates, and events will be restored automatically.

Can I use EchoBloom offline?

Unfortunately, EchoBloom isn’t available offline yet. You’ll need an internet connection to view profiles, access the Calendar, and use AI features. We’re exploring offline support for the future.

What devices/platforms does EchoBloom support?

EchoBloom is available on:

  • iOS (iPhone/iPad): Requires iOS 15 or later
  • Android: Requires Android 10 or later
  • Web: in development, coming soon!

We plan to expand to more platforms in the future.

Can I export or back up my data?

Not yet. For now, EchoBloom doesn’t allow exporting or backing up data manually. All your information is still stored safely in the cloud and tied to your account, so you won’t lose it if you switch devices or reinstall the app. We plan to add export options in the future.

Can multiple devices use the same account?

Yes. Just log in with the same account on another device and your data will sync automatically.

Does EchoBloom work in other languages?

Right now EchoBloom is optimized for English. Other language support is planned for future updates.
