Getting Started

How do I create an EchoBloom account?

Creating an EchoBloom account is simple:

  1. Download the EchoBloom app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the app. On the login screen, look for "Don't have an account?" — to the right of it, tap Sign up.
  3. Choose how to register:
    • iOS: In-app registration, Apple ID, or Google.
    • Android: In-app registration or Google.
  4. Verify your account through the chosen method.
  5. Optionally add your name, a photo, and a few things about yourself — or skip and do it later.
What's the best way to start using EchoBloom?

We recommend starting with these steps:

  • Add your closest relationships first (family, friends).
  • Write down what you know — personality, details, important dates, who they're connected to.
  • Add birthdays, anniversaries, or any dates you don't want to forget (they show up in the Calendar automatically).
  • Notifications are enabled by default for Premium users, so you'll get reminders without extra setup. (Turn them off in Settings → Notifications.)
  • Tip: Use the AI assistant — it's the fastest way to add people, details, and connections without filling fields manually.
Is there a web version of EchoBloom?

Not yet — a web version is currently in development. Stay tuned!

Features Guide

What is the AI Chat for?

The AI Chat is your personal assistant for organizing what you know about people. Tell it things naturally, like:

  • "Guoda is my sister, she loves hiking, and her birthday is May 12."
  • "Tomas is connected to Laura, they work together at the bank."
  • "What should I gift Guoda for her birthday?"

The AI takes what you say and updates the right profiles automatically — adding traits, dates, or connections. You can also ask questions like "Who did I say Laura is connected to?" or "Whose birthday is coming up this week?"

It's the fastest way to keep EchoBloom updated without filling every field manually.

What can I do in the Relationships tab?

In the Relationships tab, you can build and manage your network:

  • Add people manually with name, traits, and details.
  • Edit profiles anytime to update birthdays, anniversaries, traits, or connections.
  • Link people together (e.g., "Laura is Tomas's coworker") so connections are clear.
  • See important dates inside each profile, pulled into the Calendar automatically.
What is the Calendar tab for?

The Calendar gives you a personal timeline of people and events. You can:

  • Create new events like dinners, reunions, or reminders, and link them to people.
  • Make events recurring (weekly, monthly, yearly) so you don't have to re-enter them.
  • View events inside profiles — anything linked to a person appears both there and in the Calendar.
  • Get reminders (Premium) so you're notified before important days.

The Calendar works as your personal timeline of people and events — always connected back to the profiles you've saved.

Can I get reminders or notifications?

Yes — Premium users get smart notifications:

  • 7 days before an event (Premium) — a week's heads-up.
  • 1 day before an event — reminder the day before.
  • On the day of the event (Premium) — morning-of notification.
  • Monthly overview — on the 1st of each month, see what's coming up.
  • Profile completion suggestions — when you create a profile, EchoBloom suggests adding more details.

These keep your Calendar active and help you prepare in advance — no extra setup needed.

Can I add or edit my own custom events?

Yes. You can add events directly from the Calendar:

  • Tap the "+" button in the Calendar.
  • Enter a picture, title, date, and occurrence (one-time or recurring).
  • After saving, the event appears in your Calendar and can be linked to one or more people.
  • To edit, find the event and tap the pencil icon.

Troubleshooting

My app keeps crashing. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and restart it.
  2. Check for updates in the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → EchoBloom → Storage → Clear Cache).
  5. If problems persist, reinstall the app — your data stays linked to your account.

I'm not receiving notifications. How can I fix this?

Notification issues are usually device-specific:

  • Make sure you're a Premium user — notifications are only available on Premium.
  • Enable notifications in EchoBloom: Settings → Notifications.
  • Check your device's notification permissions for EchoBloom.
  • Disable battery optimization for EchoBloom on Android.
  • Make sure Do Not Disturb is off (iOS).
I accidentally deleted a profile. Can I recover it?

Currently, deleted profiles and their events cannot be restored. EchoBloom always asks you to confirm before deleting. Double-check before confirming.

Why isn't AI Chat updating the profile correctly?

The AI sometimes needs more context. Always mention the person's name:

  • Correct: "Tomas likes football."
  • Incorrect: "Likes football."

If the update still doesn't apply, edit the profile manually.

Frequently Asked

Is my data private and secure?

Absolutely. We take privacy seriously:

  • Your data is stored securely and tied to your account.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We continue improving privacy and security across the product.

Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Can I delete someone I added?

Yes. You can delete a person's profile in three ways:

  • From the Relationships tab: press and hold on a person until a popup appears, then tap Delete.
  • From inside a profile: tap the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Delete.
  • Using AI Chat: type "Delete [person's name] profile" and confirm when prompted.

Note: Deleting a profile also removes their dates and events from the Calendar.

What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your data is always safe in the cloud and linked to your account, not just your device. If you uninstall, nothing is lost — reinstall EchoBloom, log back in, and all your profiles, dates, and events will be restored automatically.

Can I use EchoBloom offline?

Unfortunately, EchoBloom isn't available offline yet. You'll need an internet connection to view profiles, access the Calendar, and use AI features. We're exploring offline support for the future.

What devices and platforms does EchoBloom support?

EchoBloom is available on:

  • iOS (iPhone/iPad): Requires iOS 15 or later.
  • Android: Requires Android 10 or later.
  • Web: In development, coming soon.

We plan to expand to more platforms in the future.

Can I export or back up my data?

Not yet. EchoBloom doesn't currently allow exporting or backing up data manually. All your information is still stored safely in the cloud and tied to your account, so you won't lose anything switching devices or reinstalling. Export options are planned.

Can multiple devices use the same account?

Yes. Just log in with the same account on another device and your data will sync automatically.

Does EchoBloom work in other languages?

Right now EchoBloom is optimized for English. Other language support is planned for future updates.
